There are 15 tales from the oral traditions of Goa, India, and Macau, which is China’s Official Administrative Region, and East Timor. These are regions and countries that where colonized by the Portuguese. Therefore, they have strong Portuguese Cultural Heritage that is revealed through the representations of language, music, ethnicity, food, and literature. Popular tales and legends where selected and literarily compiled by the author. This will give the reader the opportunity be partake in literature created from an Asian popular matrix yet written in the Portuguese language.
